KARACHI – Elias Diaz Sese, who serves as Executive Vice President and President of Asia Pacific at Burger King Holdings, Inc. visited Pakistan to demonstrate his keen interest in Pakistan’s promising and fast growing economy.
“Pakistan is an ideal country for investment and we are here to show the commitment of successful operations in Pakistan,” said Sese.
MCR Pakistan (Private) Ltd, the Master Franchisee of Burger King Pakistan, brings years of experience in the hospitality sector and owns other mega food brands.
“MCR Pakistan has so far opened four outlets in Karachi. The company had also announced to open hundreds of outlets throughout Pakistan. We are satisfied with the law and order situation in the city and across the country as well. We may open an outlet in Korangi.”
Earlier, on arrival of Sese, MCR Pakistan CEO Aqeel Hasan, and Richard Unsworth, Director of MCR received him at airport. Sese has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his 10 years at Burger King. Most recently, he served as Senior VP in Continental Europe and led the brand in 15 countries.
Holding the position of being the first to bring Burger King to South Asia, it will yield employment and other economic opportunities for many and will continue to provide growth and development for many Pakistanis both directly and indirectly. Burger King has the distinction of being the only chain in Pakistan to open four outlets in one month.
