RAWALPINDI – The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has confirmed the death of Al-Qaeda’s leader in South Waziristan Agency identified as Adnan Al-Shukri Juma along with five more high-level targets amid a targeted operation.
ISPR communique informed PakistanTribe on Saturday that Al-Qaeda’s operative was killed in a special targeted operation lead by Pakistan Army in Schen Warsak area of South Waziristan Agency.
“He fled the North Waziristan Agency after Pakistan Armed Forces toppled the militant network there during Operation Zarb-e-Azb,” ISPR communique stated. It was also learnt that Pakistan Army was following the leads from its intelligence sources to locate the Al-Qaeda operative in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

A ground source also confirmed that Adnan’s associate was also killed in the targeted operation.
It is also pertinent to mention here that Adnan was the in charge of Al-Qaeda’s all off-shore operations. Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Shairf appreciated the team took part in this sensitive ground operation.
