The IVORY EMPORIUM held ‘Luxe en Soie’ Exclusive Media Preview | PakistanTribe.comLAHORE: The Ivory Emporium held an exclusive media preview – a debut collection of authentic designer scarves under the collection Luxe en Soie. “Not merely as a fashion statement” as explained by the host, Luxe en Soie is a work of art with iconic pieces from the design houses of Hermès, Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo, Emilio Pucci, Etro, Celine, Givenchy, Versace, Chopard, Cartier, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Bvlgari, Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Trussardi, Liberty of London, and Gucci.  In addition to contemporary designs, for a more discerning palate, the collection also includes rare and unique vintage pieces.

While exclusively talking to Pakistan Tribe, Mehreen Tanvir said, “I have been collecting art and vintage scarves and jewellery for a while. I believe in buying these things for their inherent beauty and level of craftsmanship and not merely as a fleeting fashion trend or as is commonly referred as an “IT bag or accessory.”

Mehreen’s motivation to bring this collection to Pakistan was multifold as explained by Amber Ahmed of Pitch Media-Inc. Mehreen is absolutely enthused to share her passion for becoming collector of fine art and accessories, and offer her services to those who have present collections or would like to start a personal collection. “Money spent on classic high end products is an investment if it has long-term value of an entity. Forbes and the Financial Times have written about “investment brands” such as Hermès and Chanel,” said Amber on behalf of Pitch Media-Inc.

“We opted to do our debut collection in scarves as they are one of the most versatile accessories and are relatively affordable compared to say a designer handbag. Finally, I personally was very disturbed by the omnipresent fake designer shawls that everyone proudly sports in Lahore. Really it’s not ok to wear fake products. Through Luxe en Soie we want people to have the opportunity to buy affordable authentic designer scarves,” Mehreen Tanvir added.
