ISLAMABAD – Amid high rise confusion about the presence of international militant group, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik reveals the name of Pakistan based Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) aka DAISH’s leader.

Rehman Malik claimed on Friday that DAISH’s network was present in Pakistan and that led by one Yousuf Salfi. Malik went as far as claiming that security personnel had arrested several DAISH militants during raids conducted in different parts of the country.

When asked about his sources, he said that being a former interior minister he had his own means of gathering information from sources which had provided him with information regarding the presence of IS militants in the country.

It is also pertinent to mention here that during a seven day visit to US, Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif had vowed not to even let IS cast its shadow in Pakistan or Afghanistan.

Moreover, the Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had repeatedly denied the fact that IS had any presence in Pakistan. However, Ironically just then a local sectarian militant group claimed to receive a delegation from IS. Jundullah’s spokesman Fahad Marwat maintained on Wednesday that the visit took place this week in the Balochistan province.

However, in a secret letter the government of Balochistan had already warned federal law enforcers and federal government to be aware of the activities of the IS in country’s largest province already hit by nationalists militants.

Not to forget that the “Wall chalking of IS aka DAISH in South Punjab was meant to target and defame 1500 religious seminaries in the region, so said the Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
