According to a declaration issued from Islamabad on Wednesday, members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet under the leadership of the Chief Minister , Pervez Khattak would reach at 3.00 pm at D-Chowk Islamabad today (Thursday).
The PTI members of the National Assembly would receive the members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet at D-Chowk.
After talking to media at the D-Chowk, members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet would march towards the parliament in protest against the drone strikes and would present petition against the drone strikes in meeting with Federal Interior Minister, Speaker national Assembly and the Leader of the opposition.
The leadership of the PTI and members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet would also participate in the high level meeting called by the Speaker National Assembly and leaders of all the parliamentary parties would be informed about the standpoint of the PTI against the drone strikes.
Meanwhile, the security of the parliament house has been tightened and armed personnel of rangers have been deployed at the enclosure of the parliament house.
Meanwhile, the sit-in of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its allied parties continued on 12th day in Peshawar. The protesting workers kept on blocking NATO supplies in protest against US drone strikes.
Earlier, the Workers of PTI and JI stopped Afghanistan bound containers to scrutinize their papers causing large queues of the vehicles at the Ring Road of Peshawar, the capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
However, Afghan transit trade is being allowed to proceed on their route to Afghanistan after thorough checking.
