ISLAMABAD – The Federal Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal has revealed the secret of deadlock between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stating ‘Imran does not give mandate to his negotiation team’.
The PML-N minister was speaking to media on Thursday when he made the above statement.
He said the only way dialogue between PTI and PML-N could get along was “If PTI Chairman Imran Khan gives the mendate to his negotiation committee.”
“Imran vetoes his team’s decisions,” Ahsan said, adding the party with its ‘Plan-C’ of a countrywide shutdown is trying to damage the economy.
“Why have Lahore, Karachi and Faisalabad been chosen for the shutdown,” Ahsan questioned, alleging these cities generate more than 80 per cent export of the country.
