PTI Finally Shows Respect to PML-N Appointed Chief Election Commissioner


ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finally expressed respect towards the Justice Sardar Raza, the final nominee for the post of Chief Election Commissioner, PakistanTribe reported.

In an official communique, PTI spokesperson Shireen Mazari said “We have respect for Justice Sardar Raza but all four provincial members of Election Commission must also be changed now.”

PTI leader also said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) or Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had not taken PTI in confidence before the appointment. “Syed Khurshid Shah, Opposition Leader in National Assembly, called Shah Mehmood Qureshi (vice chairman of PTI) after they have taken the decision.”

She also stated that “Justice Sardar Raza holds a clean record and we are hopeful that he would remove all corrupt elements from Election Commission.”

Earlier today, the parliamentary committee had finalized the name of Justice Sardar Raza for the post of Chief Election Commissioner.
