LAHORE – Just as when the supremo of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Tahir ul Qadri has boarded the plane to US it was learnt from party sources that prior the travel at least two hospitals refused to treat him.
PakistanTribe learnt from correspondent reports on Wednesday that at least two hospitals in Punjab’s capital refused to treat Tahir ul Qadri citing security threats.
It was reported earlier that Tahir ul Qadri developed a cardiac problem. Initially he refused to go abroad for treatment even though his personal medical team strongly recommended that. Qadri wanted to stay in the country at least until December. However, on Tuesday he finally made the plan to go to Huston, US, for medical treatment.
Party sources had strong reasons to believe that hospitals in Lahore refused Tahir ul Qadri’s treatment due to pressure from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s government.
