LAHORE – The bank robbers have looted Rs 2.5 million from a private bank in Punjab, Pakistan after making bank’s employee and security guard hostages, PakistanTribe reported.

According to correspondent reports the the four armed robbers thrashed the body guards early morning on Tuesday before making all employees their hostage. The incident took place at Bandar Road of provincial capital.

Later, the robbers looted Rs 2.5 million hard cash from the bank’s safe and fled the site easily.

Police had arrived the scene afterwards and lodged the inquiry. Close Circuit Television (CCTV) footage has been acquired and efforts are being being made to trace the whereabouts of the robbers.
