Karachi and Sindh Gets 10 per cent Relaxation in Transport Fares


KARACHI – Transport department has transferred the benefit of lowered petroleum prices to common people in Sindh by lowering the fares up to 10 per cent, PakistanTribe reported.

According to an official communique issued by the transport department of Government of Sindh, the revised reduced fares will be applicable from Monday.

The communique was issued after the huge reduction of petroleum prices from December 1. It was learnt the fares of buses, taxis and rickshaws will be reduced by 10 per cent.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had announced to reduce the petroleum prices on Saturday while addressing in Havelian.
