KARAK – At least five people injured in a clash between the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jameat Ulema Islam Fazl ur Rehman (JUI-F) at Indus Highway on Sunday.
Clash took place in Karak district on Indus Highway where PTI convoys leaving for Islamabad to attend rally called on by Imran Khan.
The clash occurred when PTI and JUI-F workers faced each other on the road going towards Islamabad.
All injured were shifted to the nearby hospitals by the rescue teams while heavy contingents of law enforcers arrived on the location to maintain law and order.
JUI-F workers spread protests in different parts of Pakistan following their leader, Khalid Mehmood Soomro’s, brutal killing in Sukkur.
Several roads, railway tracks and few highways have now been choked by the JUI-F workers to protest against target killing of Khalid Mehmood Soomro.
