ISLAMABAD – Aimed at further enriching customer experience with high-quality local and international content, Telenor Pakistan has announced today the launch of Telenor Music – an exclusive portal providing one-stop solution to licensed content to its over 36 million customers in collaboration with publishers like Sony and Universal. The announcement was made during an interactive media roundtable on 3G here today in Islamabad.
During the session, Telenor Pakistan also announced it will offer iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the biggest advancements in iPhone history, beginning on 11 December 2014. Customers can pre-order iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus beginning on 5 Dec 2014 at Telenor’s official website.
Regarding the current commercial rollout phase, the journalists were briefed that Telenor Pakistan will continue to maintain its leadership as the largest and fastest growing 3G network in Pakistan with 55 cities and towns enabled with Telenor 3G technologies including Haripur, Gujjar Khan, Jhang, Swat, Kasur, Buner, Nowshera, Charsada, Chiniot, Rajanpur. Free trial of 3G services will be offered to Telenor Pakistan’s customers in these areas for two weeks. The subscribers will be notified about the end of free 3G trial service via SMS and Telenor Pakistan’s official website. Under the free 3G trial offer, customers can enjoy 50 MBs of free data every day. Data services on 2G will be charged as usual.
