ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan a puppet of establishment otherwise Pakistan Army stating ‘they won 2013 elections with their favor’.
Khawaja conducted a press conference on Friday evening when he leveled that allegation.
He said “How come one seat party since 2002 became a 34 seats’ party in 2013. They even got government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). How was that possible? What has Imran Khan done to get this much appreciation from public? It is our collective consensus that establishment was backing Imran Khan and his party back in those years. Imran Khan acted like a perfect puppet of establishment to earn this success.”
“PML-N stood against the military regime,” he continued “It is the behavior of Pakistani voters to honor those parties who take a stand against military dictators. Benazir Bhutto was honored in this manner as well.”
“Imran Khan is only giving false accusations and no proofs whatsoever at all to support his stance,” he added. “If he is illiterate then its not our mistake.”
Not to forget that today PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders engaged in war of press conferences one after the other. It started with Pervaiz Rahshid’s press conference in which he termed Imran Khan working for oil lobby in Pakistan.

Later Federal Interior Minister stated some more allegations along with the announcement that PTI now had an official permission to hold November 30 rally at D-Chowk in Islamabad. However, he made it clear that permission was granted with condition to maintain law and order.
