ISLAMABAD – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has refused all the allegations impeached by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Chairman Imran Khan.
ECP said total number of registered voters in election 2013 were 86 million and we printed 173 million ballot papers. Not a single ballot paper published from private printing press.
Earlier, Talking to a media conference in Islamabad, Alvi alleged that as many as 71 thousand additional ballot papers were published for Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar’s constituency and yet, he said, he was defeated.
Arif Alvi said PTI is bringing 61% data related to the election to the public sphere. He alleged that the government is fooling the public and that the government has the biggest hand in the alleged rigging.
He said printing press in Lahore published over 13 lakh ballot papers illegally.
PTI leader said that over 63 thousand additional ballot papers were published in NA 101 constituency. He claimed that the printing of additional ballot papers was paid for by the Election Commission.
