According to the PakistanTribe.com’s correspondent from Swat, a school teacher, Ihsansul Haq while addressing to the news conference said that the new college in Jalalpur, Gujrat district in Punjab will not only honour the Nobel Laureate’s struggle for the right to education but also propagate her message.
“The basic aim is to address the education woes of girls in the area.” Haq added, “The College will provide education at par with international standards and encourage students to pursue higher education.”
He added being a school teacher he is cognizant of the significance of education for women and aspires to make a difference.
Generally Pakistani considered a nation with progressive attitude toward education as large number of girls students get enrolled annually in different professional and general colleges and universities.
In urban areas of Pakistan, girls students are above 60 per cent of total enrollment in many professional colleges and universities.
