ISLAMABAD – The Information Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shireen Mazari has raised a prompt question, apparently from military forces, that if Pakistan Airforce is taking action against outlawed militants then why US continuing drone strike.

Shireen Mazari on Thursday bashed the US drone strikes yet again and termed them against all international laws.

She maintained that these drone strikes undermine the military operations against the outlawed militants in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). Pakistan Armed Forces are currently utilizing military aviation and Airforce jets to conduct two major military offensives. Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan Agency and Operation Khyber-1 in Khyber Agency is currently underway.

However, Mazari maintained on her twitter account:

Not to forget that PakistanTribe reported on November 26 that US continuing its drone strikes in North Waziristan despite the on-going Operation Zarb-e-Azb. In its latest strike in NWA, US drone killed at least four suspected militants. However, there was a conflict in reports on casualties. At least one leading English daily of Pakistan claimed that its source reported eight casualties due to US drone strike.
