LAHORE- The doctors treating Dr Tahirul Qadri, supremo of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), for his heart ailment have advised him to take complete bed rest for next 72 hours.
According to media adviser of Qadri, the PAT chief was having a hypertension (high blood pressure) and his check-up was also conducted on Thursday.
Five doctors conducted checkup at his residence and forbade him to attend any political activities. However, during his address in Bhakkar, Qadri had said he was suffering heartailment and doctors advised him rest.
The PAT chief said doctors had asked for immediate angiography in London and changed medicines for stroke treatment. “I came home despite serious warnings from the doctors of avoiding any travel,” Tahir ul Qadri said.
He had been suffering heart problem since 1982.
