SIALKOT – The Chenab Rangers – paramilitary border guards of Pakistan – silenced the guns of Indian Army after their unprovoked shelling along Charwah Sector, PakistanTribe reported.
The official military sources confirmed that the Indian side continued shelling inside Pakistan’s territory on early Friday morning. However, Pakistani border guards did not take it lightly and responded equally.
“The Indian forces resorted to fire shells along with unprovoked firing into the Pakistan territory in an attempt to target check posts of Chenab Rangers and nearby villages. However, retaliatory fire from Chenab Rangers pushed back the Indian forces,” military source said.
No loss of life was reported in the incident. The villages targeted by Indian forces were Charwah, Dhamal and Jarwaal.
