KARACHI– Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that democracy faces threat from sit-in leaders just like Pakistan faced threat from Taliban on Wednesday.
While talking to media in Karachi, Sharjeel Memon said that revolution cannot come through fake sit-ins.
Shaejeel Memon declared Imran Khan a modern Taliban.
He said Pakistan earlier faced threat from Taliban and now, he claimed, democracy faces threat from sit-in protest leaders.
Memon alleged that the agenda of both the Taliban and sit-in leaders is same. He said Taliban are ‘proper Taliban’ whereas, he said, sit-in leaders are ‘modern Taliban’.
‘Fake sit-ins’ cannot spark a revolution in the country, he said.
