KARACHI – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s leader and former Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has yet again accepted the stance Imran Khan that 2013 elections were rigged.
Malik expressed the views on Tuesday while talking to media in Karachi.
“I have been saying this since May 2013 that elections were rigged,” he said. However, he also believed that due to agitation and sit-in country had suffered a lot. “Pakistan is suffering from sit-in. These should end now.”
Malik was an active member of the Jirga along with Sirajul Haq to broke any possible deal between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He said further “I had written a letter to Imran Khan that Nawaz Sharif could not resign. Settlement should be made on other demands and issues.”
