ISLAMABAD – Second time in less than ten days, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has held a meeting with country’s top spy master Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar.
According to the details issued by Prime Minister Office, premier met Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) on Monday.
Communique also stated that the internal and external security affairs were on table during the one-on-one meeting.
The meeting took place ahead of PM Nawaz’s visit to Nepal where he is expected to attend the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit. He is also scheduled to meet other leaders on the sidelines of the summit.
The first meeting between premier and spy-master was scheduled on November 15. It was the first official meeting of Nawaz Sharif with Lt General Rizwan Akhtar after his promotion as DG ISI on November 7.
