ISLAMABAD – Ali Zafar’s ‘Kill Dil’ earned 300 million in opening week from worldwide and it became the third highest weekend grosser behind kick and Happy New Year in Pakistan.
‘Kill Dil’ is an Indian romantic action drama film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner.
The film stars Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles, with Govinda portraying the antagonist.
The film released on 14 November 2014, Film opened on a decent note and grossed 210 million in India in its opening weekend. In overseas it collected 80 million in opening weekend.
“Kill Dil” features Ranveer, Parineeti, Govinda and Ali Zafar in key roles. The film was released in around 1700 screens in India last week.
Due to limited screen count also the business remained on the lower side.
The music of Kill Dil was composed by Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa with lyrics by Gulzar. The soundtrack comprises 8 songs. The soundtrack was released on 9 October 2014.
