Lahore Convention: Jamaat-e-Islami Vows to Snatch Land from ‘British Agents’

LAHORE – On the eve of three days convention at Pakistan Minaret, the Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq has vowed to snatch land from ‘British Agents’ and distribute them in deserving people of Pakistan.

PakistanTribe‘s correspondent reported from Lahore that Sirajul Haq made this stance while presenting a charter for common people in Lahore.

Sirajul Haq also said that some ‘British agents’ propagate that Jinnah wanted to create a secular state but Jinnah had written a letter to JI founder Maulana Maududi and told him that he was going to create a mosque and JI must prepare saviors for this mosque. Siraj said that Pakistan was made in the name of religion and it will always be the fort of Islam.

“Pakistan was made in the name of Islam and the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah always wanted to create an Islamic state. All the workers of JI have gathered for creating an Islamic Pakistan,” he added.

JI’s convention will be held in Lahore form November 21 to November 23. Party sources claimed to gather as much as half a million crowd at Pakistan Minaret. Moreover, at least 30 international delegations were also participating in this event.
