ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has adopted the stance of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) over policy matters related to Sindh just few hours before the Larkana Rally.
Imran Khan gives a detailed interview and press talk to Sindhi media outlets on Thursday in which he reportedly adopted similar stance on policy issues related to Sindh which PPP propagates.
Representatives of Sindhi media outlets inquired from Khan about his stance on construction of Kalabagh Dam, division of Sindh and linguistic dynamics. Khan’s replies, however, brought him much closer to PPP and against Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Khan rejected the notion of making new provinces on the basis of language. Not to forget that MQM had already announced a movement for the creation of Muhajir Province. Moreover, Khan also undermined the notion that there should be any mega construction against the will of stakeholders.
However, Khan maintained that governance in Sindh is worst than that of Balochistan. He also claimed that rigging in 2013 general elections was not only in Punjab but it was in all provinces.
