ISLAMABAD – The legendary film star of Pakistan Mustafa Qureshi famous for his supreme dialogue Nawa’n Ayae’n Sohniya (Are you new here?) has decided to join hands with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
Mustafa Qureshi expressed his motives for joining PTI on Thursday in a press talk.
He said “Imran Khan’s vision is same as that of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his manifesto is same as that of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.” He also affirmed that after meeting Imran Khan he would formally announce to join PTI.
PTI has not issued any formal statement so far on Qureshi’s willingness to attend Larkana rally.
Qureshi’s statement came only a day before Imran Khan’s rally in Bhutto’s home town Larkana. Qureshi gained popularity from Punjabi films. His iconic role as the villain Noori Nath in the movie Moula Jat became a trademark and he went on to adapt similar roles for many years to come. He also remained associated with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) during the golden days of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
Not to forget that only few days ago PakistanTribe reported that Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah bashed Imran Khan for only doing what Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had done long ago.
