LAHORE – The supremo of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Tahir ul Qadri lands in Lahore and currently destined to reach the shrine of famous Sufi of subcontinent Hazrat Usman bin Ali Hajvery which caused huge traffic jam on roads.
According to the correspondent reports Qadri landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Thursday morning and received by a large number of his followers.
Soon after the arrival, the officials of Punjab police had informed him about security threats, however, he and his party leaders refused to change their pre-set plans of taking Qadri out in a rally. Eventually Qadri left for Daata Darbaar in his black prado – believed to be a bullet proof vehicle.
Due to a large convoy of PAT followers, the concern roads are witnessing huge traffic jams. According to the correspondent reports people trying to reach their offices and educational institutes are facing difficulties.
PAT sources confirmed that Qadri will be en route to his residence in Model Town after offering visit at the shrine.
Not to forget that it was only on November 14 that Qadri directly addressed to General Raheel Sharif and reminded him of the ‘words’ during a meeting in Rawalpindi. He said “We demand from you General Raheel Sharif that consider for what you have called us in Rawalpindi. It was you who called us. We never went there on our own.”
PakistanTribe‘s correspondent learnt from one source – television personality believed to have close ties with military establishment – that PML-N’sgovernment used the influence of Army Chief to settle the issue of Model Town’s police case with PAT and Tahirul Qadri.
