ISLAMABAD – The federal Government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced to reinstate the development funds of parliamentarians within next three days after a long standing ban.
According to the details received from Cabinet Division on Wednesday the one official Javed Ikhlas maintained that Prime Minister had ordered to reinstate the funds.
The funds of parliamentarians were blocked in Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s era when Raja Pervez Ashraf become the prime minister. Back then the funds of development projects worth Rs 10 billion were blocked.
However, Javed Ikhlas ensured that under the directives of the Supreme Court orders Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had decided to reinstate the funds and parliamentarians will receive the amount within next three days.
PakistanTribe had already reported that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government issued development funds to at least 17 Members of National Assembly (MNAs) belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) citing that they never got a single penny from federal government.
