NEW DELHI – The Indian hard hitter has rewritten the One Day Internationals (ODIs) history by scoring 250 runs on just 166 balls in a match against Sri Lanka.
He has gone past Virender Sehwag’s 219 scored against West Indies. Rohit surpassed the mark with a six off the bowling of Shaminda Eranga. The total score of Sharma remained 264 on 173 balls and with help of 33 fours and 9 sixes.
Earlier, Rohit became the first batsman to score two One-Day International (ODI) hundreds. Rohit got to his double hundred in 151 balls. Rohit hit 25 fours and five sixes in his innings.
Rohit had earlier scored a 147-ball 209 against Australia in November 2013. This is the second time he’s made a double century in One-day cricket.
