RAWALPINDI – The military top brass has concluded the Corps Commander meeting over a strong note that outlawed militants would never be allowed to gather their strengths again.
According to the details issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday the military top brass was briefed over the situation in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in context of operation Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-1.
The military top guns were in agreement to outlawed militants must not be allowed to gather strength at any corner of the country. Moreover, it was also noted that immediate efforts to be made for the return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to their native areas.
ISPR’s official communique also stated that internal and external security situation was also discussed in the Corps Commander meeting.
The meeting was presided by the Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and attended by all armed and services Corps Commanders. The principal staff officers were also present at this occasion.
