ISLAMABAD – The National Accountibility Bureaue (NAB) has finally filed formal case against the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf and Chairman of Employees Old-age Benefits Institute (EOBI) Zafar Iqbal over alleged corruption charges.
According to the details available with PakistanTribe both high profile personalities will not have to face formal cases against them.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s leader and prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf was accused of using his powers to appoint son-in-law at the World Bank. Moreover, Zafar Iqbal had allegedly mishandled the millions of rupees fund at EOBI. His venture’s damage was worth Rs 600 million.
It is also worth mentioning here that slow paced NAB was working on these two cases for over one year now.
