JAMSHORO: Institute of Art and Design University of Sindh on Monday conducted aptitude test for admissions to Bachelor of Fine Art, Art History, Communication Design and Textile Design for the academic session 2015.
As many as 2,000 candidates for 200 seats appeared in the aptitude test, written test and interviews which were conducted in three phases on the same day. The aptitude test continued whole the day long in three above said candidates.
The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Prof. Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili, accompanied by Registrar Ghulam Muhammad Bhutto and Incharge Director of the Institute Prof. Naimatullah Khilji and the incharcha Director Institute of Sindhology inspected the arrangements.
Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili on the occasion said that the testing process at the institute was transparent and disciplined adding that he was happy to see the young artists who wished to seek admission on the campus.
He said all the labs of all four departments including Fine Art, Art History, Communication Design and Textile Design will be equipped with modern computers, technology and other required things so that SU might carry on imparting quality education.
He said the five new computers will be provided to the institute on priority basis and the rest work will be done by Higher Education Program by its development programs.
The candidates who appeared in the test could check their results on Sindh University’s official website which will be announced by Tuesday (Tomorrow).
