ISLAMABAD – In an interesting incident the Indian national granddaughter of Justice Robert Cornelius – Chief Justice of Pakistan’s Supreme Court in 1960 – has tied knot with a Pakistani valley-man of Hunza.
According to the details available with PakistanTribe‘s correspondent Sher Ali met the Indian girl through the social networking site facebook.
The girl belonged to the city of Indore from Madhya Pradesh’s state. She was identified as ‘Sweety’. It was also learnt that initially, keeping in mind the ground reality of India and Pakistan, Sher Ali refused the Sweety’s proposal. However, the girl remained firm in her decision and eventually both got married.
Sher Ali now feels lucky to get married of the Indian national who happens to be the grand daughter of Pakistan’s former Chief Justice. Justice Alvin Robert Cornelius was the fourth Chief Justice of Pakistan served through 1960-1968.
