ABU DHABI – The Test Cricket marvel of Pakistan Younis Khan has scored his fourth century in one go in Abu Dhabi Test against Kiwis and skipper Misbahul Haq followed him with his own 100.
With two mighty players scoring centuries one after the other, Pakistan declared its first innings against New Zealand on 566 runs.
Younis Khan’s total centuries in 94 test matches have now mounted to 28. Moreover, he also completed 1000 Test Runs in one calender year.
Earlier today, Pakistan’s innings came under pressure when Ahmed Shahzad lost his balance while facing a bouncer. He hit-wicket on 176. Later Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that Shahzad received a head fracture and will remain in the observation for next 48 hours.
However, Pakistani crickets have secured another record when every player among the first five scored more than 80 runs in the innings.
Pakistan will be playing three test matches against New Zealand in UAE series.
