PESHAWAR – It was revealed that the newly appointed spokesperson of the outlawed militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Khalid Khurasani, has lived, studied and operated from Karachi for over a decade.
According to the latest updates, the Khalid Khurashi – whose real name is Mufti Khalid Balti – has lived in largest metropolitan city of Pakistan for more than 12 years.
A report on one national news outlet claimed that Khurasani had studied in Jamia Rashidia of Karachi. “He used to work in Umer Media – the outlawed TTP’s propaganda cell – in Karachi and also uploaded many pictures/videos from Karachi.
Khurasani was recently appointed as outlawed TTP’s spokesperson.
