Hard-Hitter Younis Khan Makes Another Hard Hit on the PCB

Younis Khan in World Cup 2015

LAHORE – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finally included the hard-hitter Younis Khan in the World Cup 2015 shortlist after his tremendous performance in test series against Australia.

The same selectors who dropped Younis Khan from One Day Internationals (ODIs) in recent series against Australia could not avoid his name anymore from shortlisting after he scored in-line hundreds in test series.

After being dropped from the ODIs, Younis made a harsh statement when he said “So what should players like me do? Suicide?” He also voluntarily offered to only play test format for next six months stating “Fine! I will only play test format. But even then if performance remained poor in ODIs then who else will be held responsible?” He was clearly pointing at the selectors.

Moreover, PakistanTrribe also learnt that selectors have also shortlisted the names of young induct Yasir Shah, Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal.

The global ODI gala – World Cup 2015 – is scheduled to to start from February 15. International Cricket Council (ICC) had bound all cricket boards to provide the shortlisted names of 30 players by December 7, 2014.
