ISLAMABAD – The senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah gives resolve of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s anger by advising Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to include her in Federal Government.
The leader of the opposition was speaking to media persons on Thursday when asked about the former coalition partner in Sindh.
He made it clear that the main issue between PPP and MQM was about the creation of a new province in Sindh. He also disclosed that as creation of new provinces is a federal subject so he had recommended Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to include MQM in the federal government.
However, Shah never took a step back from the stance that Sindh could be separated. “The PPP can even sacrifice its government in Sindh over the issue,” he declared.
He observed that the entire province rejected division of Sindh with one voice whenever the issue was raised.
Commenting on the strength of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Sindh, Shah said “The PTI may find some feudal lords and up to 40,000 supporters here in Sindh but they will have to come up with a clear stance on Sindh. The people of Sindh will not allow it to have double standards concerning their province.”
He also said that Mr Khan should publicly declare that his party disapproves of division of Sindh.
