Taweez by Shahrukh to be Hanged in Universities allover Pakistan | PakistanTribe.comLAHORE – The Beaconhouse University graduate and first-time feature film director – Shahrukh Naveed – completed the debut film Taweez inspired by the Urdu’s short story of Shafiqur Rehman.

The film will be screened in the last week of November in different universities of major metropolitan cities, an official statement stated on Wednesday.

The cast of the film is comprised of new artists that include Saad Khalid, Zain Afzal, Ammar Farooq, Ahmed Bilal, Zenab Ahmed and Shankar. One crew member described the new artists as a mixture of MBAs, lawyers and media students who have the passion of acting and creativity.

The story of the film revolves around a tussle between ancient culture of amulets/black magic and modernism. So far the film viewers and critiques have admired the trailer being released on social media.
