ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan shared a cup of tea with Jamat-e-Islami (JI)’s Chief Sirajul Haq but refused to end sit-in unless those responsible for the rigging in 2013 general elections brought to justice.
Imran Khan along with his delegation held a brief meeting with Sirajul Haq in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Talking to media after the meeting, Imran Khan made it clear once again that the must not be any doubt “We will not going to end the sit-in just like that.” He told the media persons that they (government) must not think that if Tahirul Qadri can go then PTI will also end it. “We will never end the sit-in until justice is done.”
Suggesting about the alternative, Khan also maintained “There could be one other possibility that an independent judicial commission be formulated to inquire about the election frauds. But I would say again that under Nawaz Sharif justice can never be done.”
Earlier, Sirajul Haq maintained that JI and PTI both believes in anti status quo. “We both want to make Pakistan a bright country with no social classes and uniform education system.” However, he also mentioned that one or two newspapers misquoted few statements that created the misunderstanding.
Sirajul Haq never forgets to condemn the Bangladesh government for giving the death sentences to JI leaders. He maintained that it was the duty of Pakistani government to support her friends who supported Pakistan during 1971 war.
