According to the ECP sources, after the 60 days demand of Printing Corporation of Pakistan (PCP) for the printing of ballot papers, conducting local body election  on the November 15 deadline can’t be possible.

PCP had demanded two months time to print ballet papers.

Earlier, Inaytullah Khan, local government minister in KP had said that “the provincial government is ready to conduct polls by the mid-November. This is up to the ECP to announce schedule for the elections.”

Inayatullah Khan, who belongs to Jamaat e Islami, (JI) had said that the Supreme Court’s deadline could be met if the ECP followed delimitation carried out by the provincial government.
