LONDON – It was another big night in the world of tech as What Hi-Fi? magazine dished out its coveted gongs.
And with over 90 gleaming awards up for grabs all the major technology companies were hoping to get their hands on one.
But as the evening came to an end it was Sony that took all the glory.
The Japanese company managed to bag a total of nine awards across multiple categories.
These included best Home Cinema Amplifiers, Blu-ray players and the winner of best In-ear Headphones.
And three Sony products also achieved Product of the Year, making the company the most decorated brand at the Awards.
Apple’s new iPhone 6 also grabbed its first award as it won best smartphone with the iPad winning best tablet.
Samsung will also be pleased as it took away three Awards for its 48in, 55in and 65in televisions.
Sky and music streaming service Spotify took home best set-top box and streaming service.
