Twitter users demand ban JI and IJT in Pakistan | PakistanTribeLAHORE – The users of Twitter, One of the many social media sites popular in arround 40m internet users’ country Pakistan demands tot ban Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT).

Though the trend seems to be backed by political rival of JI, MQM and PPP but the number of people involved in the conversation was tremendous.

The Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) on Monday staged a protest against the police raid at a hostel of the Punjab University in which at least 15 students have been arrested.

Police arrested students during the raid at hostel no.16 of the Punjab University. Following the raid, members of Jamiat started protest at main roads of Lahore.

Canal Road, Multan Road and Band Road were remain blocked for over three hours.

The conflict when the administration of the university had alleged that members of the party had locked two teachers of the law college in classrooms on November 30.
