EU Lifts Strict Check from Pakistani Mangoes Export | PakistanTribe.comLONDON – Europium Union (EU) has lifted strict check over the import of Pakistani mangoes, PakistanTribe.com reported.

PakistanTribe’s correspondent from Islamabad reported that ministry of commerce and food security’s recent measures motivates EU to lift such restrictions.

Commerce minister Khurram Dastgir Khan told the media that over 237 consignments were blocked in 2013 due to the strict quality check over Pakistani Mangoes export to EU.

After the certain measures from Pakistani side only two consignments have been stopped by the EU during this export season.

Commerce ministry data shows that Mango export to EU in 2014 increased 10% as compare to last (2013) season.
