KARACHI: Only seven weapons used in 48 incidents of target killings | PakistanTribe.comKARACHI – Only seven weapons were used in 48 incidents of targeted killings of police officials, doctors and people of various sects, it has been revealed, PakistanTribe.com reported.  

Police sources related to the investigation have said that in 32 of these incidents, only two weapons were used, which indicates the possibility of a third party being involved in the killings.

When the bullets found from murder spots falling in the jurisdiction of different police stations were sent to laboratories, it was found that only seven weapons had been used in 48 such incidents.

Only one weapon was used in as many as 18 targeted killing incidents in the limits of police stations North Nazimabad, Taimuria, Medina Colony, Aziz Bhatti, Shahrae-Faisal, Preedy, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Mubina Town, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Sir Syed, Mominabad, Pakistan Bazaar, and SITE A.

Besides, only one weapon was used in targeted in 14 killings within the limits of police stations Bahadurabad, Baloch Colony, Yousuf Plaza, Preedy, New Town, Tipu Sultan, Nazimabad, Ittehad Town, SITE A, and Pakistan Bazaar.
