NEW YORK – Apple’s BendGate issues have filled the tech headlines over the past week.
But now it seems one of their major rivals could have an even bigger problem on their hands.
Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 4 has just gone on sale in Korea and it appears some users are noticing a serious design flaw with the handset.
Apparently, the 5.7-inch device has a visible gap between the screen and its case which is big enough to pop a business card in.
And pictures have now appeared on Twitter reportedly showing the problems.
Some sources are saying that Samsung rushed production of the device to fight off competition from Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus.
And it’s still unclear how many phones are suffering the issues and if the pictures are even real.
Samsung appeared to enjoy Apple’s problems and even poked some fun at the Californian company via Twitter, which they may now regret.
They posted an image of their Note Edge device with the words ‘Curved. Not bent.’
Having tested the Galaxy Note 4 in Berlin, we can report it is a superb smartphone.
And with its release date just a couple of weeks away, we hope Samsung can iron out any problems before it lands on our shores.
