The Deadman’ is not dead, Undertaker wife confirmed

NEW YORK – The Undertaker’s wife Michelle McCool has confirmed that ‘The Deadman’ is not dead, and that “all is good in the hood”.

Concern was raised for the health of the WWE wrestler, real name Mark Calaway yesterday, after it emerged Limp Bizkit’s frontman Fred Durst had dedicated the song “Rollin'”, which was briefly used as the ‘Taker’s entrance music, at a recent gig by saying:

“This next song goes out to our friend Mark Calaway, The Undertaker. He’s not doing real well right now and we want all our fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.”

McCool, herself a former WWE Diva, took to Instagram today by writing that her husband is actually fine. He was last seen in a WWE ring at Wrestlemania back in April, when he was defeated by Brock Lesnar. It was the first time his character has been beaten at Wrestemania.

Accompanied by an up-to-date picture of the pair, she wrote: “Sadly, there’s always rumors about my hubby! Apparently he’s now super sick and not doing well! While we always appreciate thoughts & prayers, we are ALL GOOD IN THE HOOD”. And also added the hashtag: “#AsGoodAsGold”.

It is not known whether or not Calaway, 49, will ever return to the squared circle, but at least we do know he is in good health.
