KARACHI – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Chief Siraj-ul-Haq has said that most of the violation of the Constitution of Pakistan is being conducted in Islamabad, as the Supreme Court has not yet given its verdict in the light of the teachings of Holy Quran in the history of Pakistan.
He expressed these views while addressing a Public Iftar, organized by JI Karachi at Rizwan Park in Federal B area Block No. 16.
JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, General Secretary Abdul Wahab, Information Secretary Zahid Askari and others were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Chief Siraj-ul-Haq has said that Islamic Shariat should impose and implement in all spheres of life, as Pakistan is an ideological country which come into being on the basis of Islam.
He further said that the rulers are always betrayed with the Constitution of Pakistan, adding that the democracy, politics, economy and institutions of the country are being held hostage by the terrorists.
“Lawlessness, targeted killings, unemployment and inflation are on the rise in the government of PML-N, adding that there was no change in the foreign policy of Pervez Musharraf, Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif”, he added.
JI Chief said that the affairs of the country is still running under the directives of IMF, adding that the characters of Salahuddin Ayubi and Muhammad Bin Qasim should be revived.
He appealed the 180million population of the country to come forward and play their role in developing the country.
“We want that the PML-N government to complete its 5-year tenure, but its policies do not depicts the same story”, he added.
Hafiz Naeem said that the sacred month of Ramadan was the month of Holy Quran.
“Bait-ul-Maqdas is considered our home and all Muslims should raise their voice against the atrocities being conducted by the Israel in Gaza”, he added.
A resolution was also presented on the occasion in which the participants strongly condemned the Israeli atrocities in Palestine in which over 200 innocent women and children were killed by the barbarism of Israel. The resolution also demanded free Palestine from the sway of Israel. Later, the resolution was approved unanimously by the gathering.
