Petrol Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – As the month of June comes to an end, once again the news of petroleum price hike during Ramzan starts floating.

According to the sources from Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources a proposal has been prepared to increase the price of petrol by Rs 1.88 from 1st July.

However, the price of kerosene oil would likely to be reduced by Rs 1.66, as per the prepared proposal.

Its also pertinent to mention here that in May, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had refused to increase the price of petroleum goods and advised Ministry of Finance to keep up the Rs 1.7 billion subsidy.
