Ireland not to visit Pakistan after karachi airport attackKARACHI – Facing another major setback after the attack on Karachi Airport, Ireland’s visit to Pakistan in September has been wrapped up.

This is second incident of damaging efforts to restore international cricket in the country. Earlier, Gibbs and Jacob Oram refused to play in a Ramadan Tournament in Pakistan.

According to the sources, Irish team wanted to visit Pakistan in September after security assurances; however, three weeks long dicussions came to an end after the attack.

The spokesman of Irish cricket board Berry Chambers says his team was willing to play three ODIs against big cricket guns before world cup 2015, but in given situation, it seems impossible.
