Military jets bring wrath on outlawed TTP near Af-Pak border


RAWALPINDI – Fifteen outlawed militants have been killed when Pakistan Armed Forces bombed the hideouts of terrorists in Tirah Valley of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

According to the details issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) military jets pounded the safe houses of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Khyber Agency on Tuesday’s wee hours.

“Military jets targeted nine hideouts in Tirah near Pak-Afghan border. At least 15 terrorists are killed,” said ISPR in a brief statement.

Its pertinent to mention here that outlawed TTP claimed the responsibility of Karachi Airport Siege that killed at least thirty including 10 terrorists.

TTPĀ saidĀ that it was carried out in revenge for killing of its leader Hakimullah Mehsud and other fighters.
