‘Outlawed TTP avenged operation in FATA at Karachi airport’

PESHAWAR – The outlawed militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has accepted the responsibility of gorilla attack on Karachi airport reportedly to avenge the ‘unannounced war’ in tribal areas by Pakistan Security forces.

Spokesperson of outlawed TTP Shahidullah Shahid contacted media personnel on Monday morning in which he merrily accepted the responsibility of the terrorist attack on Karachi airport.

“We carried out this attack on the Karachi airport and it is a message to the Pakistani government that we are still alive to react over the killings of innocent people in bomb attacks on their villages,” outlawed TTP’s spokesperson added.

Its pertinent to mention here that earlier, Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhter claimed in a press conference that at least 10 attackers were gunned down. He also maintained that their fiscal appearances make them Uzbeks.
